The following enhancements were added to the Calendar for service providers:
These features make it easier for you to configure your calendars so you see the information you want in a format that fits your needs.
New Calendar Views
This release includes three new calendar views. Each view provides a different way to visually group the appointments on the calendar so you can see the appointments for a day by bay, mechanic, or unassigned.
When viewing a calendar, you can now select the Bay view as an option from the toolbar.
The Bay view displays the calendar for a single day with a column for each bay with an appointment that day. The appointments then display in the column of their assigned bay at the scheduled time. This allows you to easily see which bay has appointments and when each day.
When viewing a calendar, you can now select the Mechanic view as an option from the toolbar.
Similar to the Bay view, the Mechanic view displays the calendar for a single day with a column for each mechanic with an appointment that day. The appointments then display in the column of their assigned mechanic at the scheduled time. This allows you to easily see which mechanic has appointments and when each day.
When viewing a calendar, you can now select the Unassigned view as an option from the toolbar.
The Unassigned view displays only those appointments without a Technician assigned to it in a given day. This allows you to easily see which appointments still need a Technician assigned to it, so you can assign one.
More Default Time Frame Options
All service provider users can now select the new views added in this release and the 7.139.0 Release on Dec 12, 2018 as their Default Calendar Time Frame.
- Basic Day (7.139.0 Release)
- Basic Week (7.139.0 Release)

The Default Calendar Time Frame determines what view your calendars default to when you first open them. This is so you can see your calendars in the view you use the most with no added clicks.
You can still change the view at any time while viewing the calendar, but the view will return to your default when you refresh the page or open it again.
To set your Default Calendar Time Frame, select My Profile from the menu bar of the Portal, and go to the Calendar Preferences section. Select the view you want your calendars to display in by default, and click SAVE CHANGES.
For service managers:
You can also select the new views added in this release and the 7.139.0 Release as the Default Time Frame for all users in a location. This default applies when a user does not have their own Default Calendar Time Frame set.
To set your location’s Default Time Frame, go to the Appointment Options section of the Customize Your Database Administrative Tool, and select which fields you want to display.
This change affects all users and all calendars within your location.
